200m World Record!

I was absolutely delighted to break the World Record for the 200m T42 at the Diamond League meet on Saturday! My time was a 25.69, beating the old record by just under three tenths of a second.
I’ve been training really hard with my track coach, Keith Anton, and all our work on ‘phasing’ my race [...]

New World Record

I’m delighted to say that the International Paralympic Committee has confirmed my new World Record, set at the BT Paralympic World Cup.
I was running in the same race, the Men’s 400m, as Oscar Pistorius and we both set new records. Mine was a new T42 World record with a time of 57.06s, Oscar set a new T43 World [...]

Thank You London!

What a week and what a race!

I have run several [...]

Winning the 200m Gold medal was clearly the highlight and it’s given me another target for 2012, as I [...]

World Champion!!!!

I’m over the moon with my 200m Gold in the IPC World Championships in Christchurch!
Two hundred metres is a hard distance for me but I took a good look at the other guys in the warm up area and I knew what I had to do.
My start is usually quite slow and I realised they [...]

Kicking off the New Year in New Zealand

After a trying December, when the conditions were so terrible that I couldn’t do any road running whatsoever I’m off to the World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Although we were snowed in, I didn’t stop training and had to content myself with extra strength and conditioning sessions as well as indoor training in Lee Valley. [...]

Running in the Big Apple

I’ve run the race before and not only is it a really good place to run, with lots of sights to see en [...]
