I was absolutely delighted to break the World Record for the 200m T42 at the Diamond League meet on Saturday! My time was a 25.69, beating the old record by just under three tenths of a second.

I’ve been training really hard with my track coach, Keith Anton, and all our work on ‘phasing’ my race and honing my running technique seems to be paying off.

We’ve been concentrating on a more relaxed running style as well as trying to explode off the curve. To be able to put it all together when it matters – and in front of a sell out crowd of 17,000 – is very satisfying I can tell you!!
